It's not really much different in the US. I know several companies that are dealing permit issues for several years now. It seems to me the same $hit happens everywhere. The only variable is how blatant is it. Oddly enough, it is so much easier to start a chemical company in china if you know the right palms to grease than it is to set up a lemon aide stand in new York.
