It is all due to where the numbers came from. I was using my 60min chart. The 4pm price is never the closing price of the day. i.e. 4pm today 76.24 and stated close is 76.20. I'm sure the same applies to the opening bar. The key is that the data all cames from the same data base so it is apples vs apples.

Trade the Charts and not the Heart - Expect the trend to continue until it doesn't.
