This may be a dream and completely baseless, but it is not nearly as outlandish as you would have us believe. If I know something is truly promising and can buy it at an absurdly low price, why would I wait and pay 50 times more for it? HMmmmm....
And besides, even if the rumor turned out to be baseless but the stock ran to .05, what harm is there in that?
Unless of course you happened to have unloaded most of your position coincidentally just before this development. Then I could see the grief....
