I still am not sure the 1/2 million casualties you are quoting, but will give you the benefit of the doubt..

SO, will ask you to figure this for me, what is the estimated rate Saddam is killing his people today and how long will it take him to kill 1/2 million people

You see, that is a KNOWN fact, he is KILLING his people, and you on the other hand wish to take an ESTIMATE, as gruesome and distasteful as it is, and quote as a KNOWN fact. Will you ever give credence to the fact that MAYBE no one dies, maybe Saddam gives up the day we march in and HE LEAVES??

You have to give credence to it, because like your 1/2 million casualties, it is an UNKNOWN and could happen...
