I think that the few times in which I do exit more or less at the top of the box clouds the reality that more often than not I leave a bunch on the table, the same with buys. Take Friday, I had to rush back into the bu$$, I got back in on a potential breach of the day's high $13.48 at a premium (the prior exit at $13.44 and $13.31 were not too bad), and got out, but it continued higher, yet the exit was pretty good (so far) since the close was just around there. On the other hand, I left on the table more than a buck on QCOM (actually $1.70), and to the top close to a buck on IDPH. I also exited earlier in the week quite prematurely from INTU and CDWC. On the buy side, NEM and OMG were far from perfect buys as well. So your observation is not what the facts reflect, just be happy to take a profit, don't attempt to take maximum profits.... though, these are sweet victories...
