Analyzing Capstone's Fourth Quarter Earnings..

Although Capstone has missed quarterly earning estimates 3 quarters in a row now..the big positive was revenue..$30.1M for the quarter was a little better than estimates..a miss would have been disastrous..(FuelCell's recent miss and stock hit comes to mind)..Revenue over $100M for the year..record new orders and record backlog of $139M..

Throw out the warrant accounting..loss for the year was 12 cents..loss from operations..$32M..just 2M less than last year..
Selling, general and administrative expense..29M for the year..3M more than last year..very high when compared to $109M in revenue..

Japan..transportation..UTC cooperation..still unknowns..

Seems the same trading range will continue unless there is some type of fundamental change or news..imo..
