I agree. 3x/week is an especially awkward schedule to have to remember; moreover, it’s suboptimal medically insofar as the gap between doses is not constant.

If there is no change in the NCE, why couldn't the generic provider get approval for the new thrice weekly dose?

It could be done but it would require a separate ANDA from the one pending for regular Copaxone.
