I don't know if Bourque has considered this already, but I wonder if there's any potential there with Kryron (utilizing aluminum or some other metal) in regard to blades? It seems to me that since Kryron can obviously take a large amount of punishment that it might also be ideal for utility/combat knives and the like. And I'm also wondering if such a knife might be able to be fabricated with a razor-(or better)sharp edge from the get-go since the carbon nano-tubes should, I would think, allow a very fine edge to be fabricated without undue brittleness, and possibly with much less wear? Imagine how sharp a carbon nanotube edge could be, and who knows, it might never need re-sharpening (under typical usage conditions)! We already use carbon in the making of blades to add strength and flexibility, so I don't see this idea as unfeasible.

It might be worth experimenting with in any case.
