Let's see the info in a filing.

Since when has the float ever been known through any type of filing? Even reporting companies don't report the float, only the transfer agent and the company has that information and it's always verified through the transfer agent. So what filing should we be looking for to see what the float is? Only the authorized and outstanding is in filings, never the float, so if there is I'm sure everyone here would like to know...
