Joe, same here. I covered the QQQ @23.81 from short @ 24.07, t oo early. I did hold on to KLAC, NVLS and AMAT and covered this afternoon before the rally. I rarely catch the exact turn, but sometimes close. I went short a little AH near the top of the ramp and am still in the black on those. As long as I can make it a $ trade I'm happy. Some traders seem to do it a lot better than me. Fear of loss is what gets me out too quick. My broker (Harris) allowes me to buy or short, multiple times within the same day for the same total trade cost of $20 per long or short total position trade. Say I short at 10 diferent times the same stock, those 10 shorts on the same stock still only incur one comish of $20. That helps me in averageing in throughout the day (or hour) on a short or long position.
