ml -- a google will get you all the info you can absorb -- the primary obstruction to development is the fact that any alternative technology requires significant investment dollars for major output -- yet these plants have to compete with oil that is produced in SA at less than $2.00/bbl and many other world wide production at not much higher wellhead costs.

Perhaps the US gov't should lend the funds for major development and guarantee price support -- means that we would never see oil costs below $35.00/bbl

Also means we would never be dependent on foreign oil producers
