Nvidia Corp.'s fourth-quarter earnings exceeded analysts' consensus estimate of 6 cents a share.

Nvidia recognized $40.4 million in additional revenue in the fourth quarter from the settlement with Microsoft Corp. (NasdaqNM:MSFT - News) . On Feb. 6, the two companies resolved issues related to pricing of the Microsoft Xbox GPU and MCP chips.
