As I understand it, at about $15 - $20 per chipset per end user, this is a very competitive business. It helps if you have a product that is being sold and producing revenue.
Zeus may have made a gift of Embarq to Da Boyz (I don't think anybody anywhere has shown any evidence that anybody paid for that etherware), but it has not been developed yet; much less, sold.
Nite, nite is probably the proper sentiment as soon as the Ikanos IPO is raised and the funds used to compete in the arena where NVEI/Rim Full Con Job is contemplating its competitive entry on the shoulders of Goodbye Hard.
