Good idea to use SL1 and 2 for agriculture. Problem(?) is there is a CDA (carbon development agreement) for 7 years (not 50 as before) SL1 with NOST. In the meantime SGCP is advancing in expanding the Paulownia project and what's wrong with the timber for future sales? SL2 was planned to be developed after a forward sale of SL1. I agree with you, and probably managment also did, the 70,000 acre ( are partial) can be used for agriculture. We cann't compete the agricultural multinationals who invest million/billion dollars (corn, rice) surrounding the SGCP project area. Will SGCP go for a JV expanding the variety of garden vegetables they tested and was successfull? Will they get a loan and from who? For the local people it could be a blessing, the women and youth for agriculture, the men for the timber. The students agriculture SGCP sponsored can be positioned in the field as well. But I agree, mdb1, it's about time we see some results and concrete deals to restore confidence.
