Buc, it sounds like MSE went to great lengths to create the identical conditions required for an accurate comparison by using heat, moisture, and gas. Whether the detailed, and well-documented tests that were conducted were considered the "hot-run" by the cement company, or whether the cement company decided to accept these test results as acceptable to move forward to a contract I do not know. What I do know is that the tests involved photographing all of the equipment used, with many explanations, and there is no way that what MSE published yesterday could be seen as anything other than a carefully-constructed test environment in a laboratory setting. The first test was for purposes of the cement plant market, and the second test was for purposes of the power plant market. Based on everything that I have read, I could easily see a contract coming out what MSE published.
