There are better places for them; Agora comes to mind.

The problem with the tout sites is that the audience is limited, and nobody wants to prattle on in isolation. These boards don't rack up a million posts with everyone cooing sweet nothings to each other about a penny dreadful. It takes debate, discussion and disharmony to get the odometers rolling.
