I Sir Beg To Differ! What in my post suggested to you that I think we should be Syria?
I suggest and have suggested before that any and all threats at us or ours (Allies & Embassy's) be a severe retaliation that would remove any taste for blood from the mouths of our would-be enemies.
I have said over and over again, any war, all wars should be all-out total hell and over in three months. From the first day Carter showed weakness and every move by our weak-kneed president's and government since then has only allowed the Muslim's to grow stronger as we grew weaker.
We need to pull out the UN and go back to a don't muck with us posture; this would save us much lives, money, reputation and time. We don't need to asking anybody if we can or should defend ourselves.
