I sometimes wonder how many opportunities i miss to serve God and others because of whatever reason. When, it would probably have been just as easy to have took a moment and followed thru with his calling or nudging.

I pray daily that the Lord will give me the courage, His strength and His wisdom to immediately take action at the Holy Spirit's urging. How many times have we missed out on sharing something that He has put on our hearts by us delaying - even a few minutes can make the difference in missed opportunities. The other day a co-worker came into work and complained about not getting much sleep because of a migraine. The Holy Spirit urged me to me to lay heads on her head and pray. Did I do it? No, I hesitated - just briefly - and missed the opportunity to share His glory and power. Many times He leads us to pray for someone that we come into contact with. It's possible that He desires for us to ask them if they wish for us to pray for them. It is my experience that if He lays upon our hearts to pray for someone - then He has already prepared them; we just need to learn to immediately take action, without hesitation.
