Unfortunately, our investments are intrinsically tied to a correct high level assessment.
There is every indication that China and America are working together. The Americans denigrate gold and manipulate the price down while the Chinese accumulate at bargain basement prices. This is why I suspect a partial gold standard is in the works. The Chinese will play this game as long as it serves their purposes. I suspect the Europeans are resisting the plan to devalue the Western world’s currencies. This is why a strong dose of deflation is being dished out. Europe cannot handle a round of deflation right now, and will soon be printing. Then it is full speed ahead (western world printing) heading into the American election. After the election, all hell will break loose. This is just my best guess of course, as none of us knows exactly what will happen.
