Ouch! The name was right there when you were posting that. <sigh>

Tell me, if you prefer to go through life "Expecting the worst from people and you will rarely be disappointed" exactly what good would "SHOW ME" from Missouri be relevant to your life since you WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT ANYWAY.

The essence of Missourianism is that nothing is true until you've verified it on your own.

Pessimism just means expecting the worst. Skepticism means not believing things without proof. Two different things that usually but don't necessarily go hand in hand.
