SEC/NASD just got off the phone with a gent. from the sec, he said they are looking into the current situation. not sure who's best interest the brokerage firms were looking out for??? AMTD SHORT??? did state that they are working presently looking into this matter and "will have something for the public soon." also then directed me to the nasd,.... who was also aware of the situation of course but did ask me alot of specifics as to date, time, of amtd halt. also talked about shorting and brokerages covering their own A$$e$. both of these folks said that they would call me back.
