true however I believe the NDEP would be quite aware and would easily observe a water problem of the magnitude PCFG mentioned they experienced in the CC. Until I hear otherwise from PCFG - this bit of DD from the NDEP that no water issues have been observed tells me enough that processing and production is not far behind now. Getting that behind us as it was a major topic since the CC would be positive for PCFG.

There currently are no outstanding water related issues with the Black Rock Canyon mine operated by Nevada Rae Gold Inc., approximately 1 mile south of Crescent Valley.

They are listed as operating however we cannot comment on whether or not they are currently in full production. Our Bureau receives annual reporting on the volume of material processed but not the amount of gold produced. You would need to contact them directly for questions regarding current production levels. They report their gold production annually to the Nevada Division of Minerals.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Regards,
Joe Sawyer

Hello Joe,

I was wondering if you could provide any information regarding Pacific Gold/Black Rock Canyon – do you know if they are in full production and if the water issues have been resolved?

Thanks so much,

If you want to check if all the water issues have been resolved, you will need to speak with our Regulation Branch. If you want to contact the Regulation Branch, you can call Joe Sawyer, Regulation Branch Supervisor, at 775-687-9400. I do not know whether they are in full production or not, either.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. They are currently permitted to operate by our regulation and reclamation branches. I was there a couple days ago and they were in operation.

Good Afternoon Shane and Todd,

I wondered if you could update me on the water issues at Black Rock Canyon/Pacific Gold? I realize they were undergoing some problems and were trying to resolve in order to get the site up and running.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
