Going back in time ( I remember it pretty well as I was on a benefits team that launched our very first one) ---- what
impact on markets / stocks / economy <in general> do you feel the advent of 401-K type plans has had?
Said differently ---- if companies offered only "pension" type retirement benefits (still) ----- what would be different in 2012 (and beyond) ?
I was very lucky ---- full pension package & lucrative 401K match ---- plus stock options and most importantly.....all our
children were grown and gone when we were 42 !!
