To me reading Tarot cards is like looking into a mirror. I read my own as what is shown is for me. Every once in a while I have people ask me to read for them. I never take money for it. It is a useful tool for both.

Our own reflection is always there and it takes a good bit of wisdom to be able to filter it out. I believe there are those who are clear enough channels to do it routinely for others, but by far the majority are not. My studies do not advocate such practice. Since The Great Work is about our own path. Co-creating with another is part of this expression so readings done in that light/spirit can be fun and revealing.

Not only that, the Physics of things apply. As soon as you look at it it changes. Observing our own energy, changes it. The "trap" of having someone else read our energy is that we believe they have a "power" that we do not innately possess. Most paid readers profit from this and both the reader and the one being read are delluded. Saying that however, I believe in the Perfect expression of the Universe and do not stand in judgement of this practice for very long. It is simply not my primary path.

The best practice is to understand that the past is written and the future is not. Being present is the only fruitful path worth walking. Attention to allowing what was and what will be to ok and forgiven, allows the Gift of being Present to be exactly that...a Present.
