I agree, however I will state it this way:

"There is always half the distance between here and there."

That is applicable in science/math and in relating. Math is a measurement. Relating is called compromise. In moving half the distance between two conflicting notions, ideas, ideals, facts etc, I believe is our growth.

The space in between is "the spirit of the law". Here is where creation exists.
