Hard to say what the stock might do. Hughes hinted at the JPM Conference that rulings by Whyte, Robinson, or the ITC Commission might spur settlement with Hynix, Micron or both. Hughes appears willing to structure an acceptable settlement. Maybe some hybrid of the Samsung deal. Not a giveaway, but no back damage bonanza either.

So, if a ruling by Whyte results in a settlement with one or both litigants, the share price will rise a bit. Few bucks?

If you believe the Rambus semiconductor group will resign licensees at expiration and license several new clients, and you like the future of its NBG as well, $4 seems cheap.

Just my guess. I am never right.
