I've considered it. They're only about 3-4 feet down in the ground. The closest one is only about 12 feet from my front door. A 26 incher carrying as many as 38 different gasolines. I didn't realize though that a little over 10% of all the petroleum products used in the US goes through them. That's mind boggling. About 2.5 million barrels every day. Right through my front yard. Wow! Wait till I tell the neighbors. That ain't going to believe it. And if it wasn't for the markers three houses up where they go under the road, you would never know they were there.
