Well, what I was taught was that you should use the appropriate chart for your investment timeframe -- equal to or greater than three times the length of your planned stay.

For example, If you are playing a stock for three days, look at the past two weeks. Since BCIT will be unfolding over a period of many weeks, not days, the weekly chart would be the correct choice IMO.

Good stocks are obvious. Extensive DD is how you convince yourself to buy a bad one.
