The suspicious trading activity on MDGC does show evidence of tape painting, which is also defined as placing small trades to artificially manipulate the price (usually up).

OTC Markets noticed the supsicious activity and rapid increase in price on no news. Being that the company had also gone dark, they placed a Caveat Emptor warning as they believe there is a public interest concern.
