They are trying at least in part to get around this.
The Justice Department has asked a federal court to suspend preparations for the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui and will appeal a secret court ruling that would allow Mr. Moussaoui's lawyers to interrogate a captured leader of Al Qaeda, according to court papers filed today and people who have access to classified information about the case.
