The question was not one of legality, but of the wisdom of investing in a pinkie for which no information is available. There could be a trillion shares outstanding, tens of millions in net liabilities, or massive losses.
In addition to having no information, an investor is faced with the "caveat emptor" skull and crossbones warning on the stock which suggests there are even worse things about it than not being current.
