You could not have said it better. Actually you did make the point I was trying to make. In my current business I have a lot of write offs and do not pay much in taxes and it shows up because my billfold is a little short. During the tech boom I paid a lot more in taxes but sure did enjoy having a larger billfold (and I still had a lot of write offs).
