Thanks for the reply to my post yesterday. I have noticed that your synergy flows with abundance and your zeal for this play remains unabated. All that is good, LOL.
But we have joined a "new" community with "old" posters and with all of those burdens the old posters have borne. We need to be refreshed by a form of bridled debate. Like pulling the choke out on your old pickup until it chugs with fuel starvation. I have learned to stifle myself lest I be looked upon as having gone to the supermarket in nothing but my under shorts. I like red, so I would stand out a whole lot. Other appendages may incence the gathering crowds also.
Handles and oeo2oo have risked posting on the Stockhouse BB in order to invite us to this board. They have a finger on the quick disconnect button because they have an envelope of respectability to uphold or else the board will debase to nothing more than a mirror image of the old. I am glad that jim and jen and such like are obvious by their absence.
But many of us who believe in SUR have a function of overstatement which is on the reciprocal of bashing. I have learned that this type of enthusiasm which leads to uncorrected bliss is no better than the other. All things in moderation under a moderator, as it were.
I actually do appreciate a forum which is clipped and curled. Even pom poms should be so entreated.
I said all that to say this....
That we may at times look a bit like a gravel filter with the screen mesh too coursely set so too many big chunks get through. They want finely sifted sand here. I have determined that the default switch is set to the fact that posting here is a privelage, and not a right. Much the same as your drivers licence. You get to go down the road, but you have to obey the rules.
