USA Truck, Inc. is a truckload carrier providing transportation of general commodities throughout the continental United States, into and out of Mexico and into and out of portions of Canada. The Company transports dry van trailer loads of freight from origin to destination without intermediate stops or handling. It provides brokerage and rail intermodal services. For shipments into Mexico, it transfers its trailers to tractors operated by Mexican carriers at a facility in Laredo, Texas, which is operated by its subsidiary. It transports many types of freight for a diverse customer base in industries, such as industrial machinery and equipment, rubber and plastics, retail stores, paper products, durable consumer goods, metals, electronics and chemicals. It operates in three segments: the Trucking operating segment, the Strategic Capacity Solutions operating segment and the Intermodal operating segment. In November 2010, it sold its terminal facility in Shreveport, Louisiana.
