secrecy, because maybe the buyer(say google) doesn't want any other company (say facebook) to know that Atrinsic's financials are getting better or that the Spyder is ready or what their buyout offer is because other possibly interested parties (facebook again) would probably offer more just to keep (google again) from getting Atrinsic. jmho.
