Our district is very small. Fortunately, I haven't seen a lot of "weird stuff" in curriculum. It wouldn't be tolerated, but I know there's "weird stuff" in some public school curriculum. The demographics here would never support teaching that type of "diversity". :)

It's important to be mindful of the fact that schools answer to parents, and public schools are "the State". Look at the perverse crap taught in Islamic Republics. Public sector curriculum can not be permitted to cross the line.
