This doesn't seem to paint George as the Racist you claim him to be..



The family of George Zimmerman, the Florida man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, is offering more evidence that appears to counter claims that he harbored racist views against black people.

Ever since the tragic incident in Florida, charges have come from various members of the African-American community that Zimmerman's motivations for killing the 17 year old included racism against blacks. Zimmermann is Hispanic.

Now the Zimmerman family has released to the public a letter they wrote to the NAACP which recounts the efforts George Zimmerman took to seek justice for a homeless black man several years ago.

A controversy arose after it was reported the homeless man was beaten by local police officers. In their letter, the family says it was Zimmerman who led a campaign on behalf of the homeless man to call for the officers to be brought to justice:
