Your bid will only be filled if it is a cross at your own broker or when the offer is reduced to your bid..
Your bid is not on the bid side of the market because it is less than 500 shares or less than 200 shares if above $10.00..
Rarely but I can't say never when bid is bid smaller than a min. order size for shares,, is that bid filled unless the offer comes down to it's level.. If bids and offers were in share amounts less than normal trading sizes were be allowed to stand and trade ,, the market's would have no depth or volume..
TEVD needs the bids and offers to come closer before any trading may be established.. No one will pay almost $100.00 per share for a stock that only has a high bid of $5.96.. that is unless they really believe and could care less what they paid.. But,, at present it appears that there is no one willing to even top my $5.96 bid.. As NITE is the firm making the bid on my behalf,, I assure you that they have no economic value in the trade except a small fee at the time the trade actually happens.. hank
