Interesting. That might also explain the explosion sound we heard as the shuttle passed overhead. Whatever it was I'm becoming more and more convinced that the Shuttle started it's initial break up near CA. Once something started to go wrong the Shuttle's flight path would begin to divert off it's intended course just enough to cause excessive heating (and vibration?). The data as the shuttle passed over CA and NV is imperative to have.
