Woodward and Plesch believe that a war with Iran can enable the Republicans to win the mid-term elections. I am thinking the prospect of another war might turn the electorate off and could work in the reverse, against the Republicans.

The Republicans, if what Woodward and Plesch think is true, have to implement a heavy propaganda campaign to completely cloud the facts that the mullahs are not close to acquiring the bomb and by restarting its conversion of yellowcake into uranium hexafluoride Iran has not violated the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

An almost complete disregard for these particulars I am already seeing whether that is for a continuation of the Grand Game in which Iran is a important move on the chessboard or to win mid-terms or perhaps both I do not know.

Are the Iranian mullahs close to acquiring the bomb? Has Iran violated the Non-Proliferation Treaty by restarting its conversion of yellowcake into uranium hexaflouride? The answer to both is no.

By a recent U.S. intelligence review, Iran may be 10 years away from a bomb. And under the NPT, Iran is allowed to enrich uranium for use in her own nuclear power plants.
