jd, you must know by now that I'm in a news blackout. <G>

I did watch the Powell speech this AM. You have to understand that in light of the US's know-it-all attitude, the evidence presented is undergoing a bit of skeptical reaction.

Photoshop is a great program, and lots of people distrust photos now because of it.

Actually, the case is not about whether or not Saddam has that stuff. The case is does it really matter or not.

The US stretches its credibility when it says Saddam is a great threat to his neighbors and must disarm, but gives North Korea food and oil while they export the stuff Saddam prefers to keep to himself.

North Korea has trained for years to blitz Seoul in 6-minutes, along with the 35,000 US troops there. It really stretches the imagination to say one is a greater threat than the other.

In the end, I do not believe this matter will be more than a blip on the direction of the market. A once in 72-year bubble trumps something like this, IMO.
