zz, as always I do not disagree with the research you are putting forward. Very simply, I disagree that taking power from one group of megalomaniacs and giving it to another group of power-hungry partisans (of both stripes) is jumping from the pot into the fire.

Individual freedom is much more important than any of the healthcare missteps or outright criminal and immoral behaviour. If individual freedom is abdicated, the very behavior you abhor will, at some point in the future, begin again. Only this time you will not be able to stop it since it will carry the blessing of the federal government. History has proven this simple concept of human nature time and time again.

You would think folks are inventing something new with this healthcare debate. The abdication of individual liberties to your government has been going on for Centuries. It has ALWAYS lead to tyranny.
