I am going to try and get back to your post later. A quickie here, somewhat related.

I do not believe systems can succeed where a small percentage have actual power, in this way China is no different than the U.S. where we are a DEMOCRACY in name only, we are in fact a far right wing country now with power consolidating between the military and big business, the perfect equation for a nightmare Totalitarian society.

I would question the existence of true democracy. A democracy by definition is a government by the people and for the people. Democracy is instituted and run by a small powerful percentage (the Haves). The real war is between the Haves and the Have Nots. Why would the Haves establish a government for the ordinary people, to be run by ordinary people who in reality are the Have Nots – their adversary?

Democracy as practiced is an illusion.
