Difference being, WM settled for a small amount and never went to trial.

Of course what really hit WM was the class action suit settlement that followed the fine. That was about 20 times greater.
Probably explains JB's reluctance to settle as I doubt the PIPE holders would be thrilled to cough up more multi-millions to bail JB out again.
