"As dumb as I think selling right now is, they didn't even bother maximizing profit."  There have been right around 200,000,000 shares sold over the last month.  I doubt the sellers of all those shares were dumb.  If they didn't maximize profits, they probably (at least in their own minds) optimized them -- a clue as to who might be selling.  What kind of holder sells steadily at whatever prices are available, with no great concern for maximizing profits?  Proceeds of the shares sold in a little over a month would exceed a million dollars now.
