The terminology is the same ...

for both documents. The DoI is titled

The DoI of the United STATES of America.

The Constitution is called the C of the

United STATES of America.


The DoI took place in 1776.

The 1st Union was created 5 years later
in 1781.

The 2nd Union was created in 1790 and
is the Union we have today.
