I guess if law enforcement had that way of looking at the BCIT situation,

Then we might as well empty all the prisons and jails...as everyone that is doing time did not commit a crime, they "just screwed-up".

Yes screw ups happen, but here they were designed to steal, in my opinion.
This was a case of PREMEDITATED THEFT, not some accident that just occurred.

Premeditated Theft is not just messing up!

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!
