Actually what you say is not true at all. If you want to know the truth about the News, take the price of of ANY stock for a two year period and plat all the news release dates on that chart. Then stand back and observe and you will see how the news actually does affect the price of a stock. But, you probably won't do that because it way too easy to just go along with the crowd and follow the assumption that the News drives the price. But, the only thing that can drove the price of a stock is aggressive buying or aggressive selling. By plotting the news on a 2-year chart, you will see that buying and selling activity is most often contrary to the news. That is why we have the old stand-by saying about the stock market that you should sell the news. When it comes to fundamentals, the fundamental data for ATRN is quite bleak. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=ATRN.PK&ql=1 - http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=ATRN.PK+Key+Statistics I can understand how you may confuse the News with Fundamentals but the reality is that they are quite different. Now, we did NOT have a follow through rally today. Not yet anyway, so technically what we have is a bounce in a bear market. However, the daily price chart does look interesting right up to the point where the current price correction fell below the 62% Fibonacci range. For the bull market that occurred from the first of the year through February 12th to continue now we need to see this rally continue to new highs. But, the technical picture on the Hourly price chart is looking like a toss up at the moment as to whether or not that will happen.
