Have you ever seen one of these requests denied by the SEC?



I've heard of denials where companies wanted to not disclose details of performance targets for equity awards to executives in their proxy. I think there have also been denials where funds didn't want to disclose details of certain stock acquisitions/dispositions in their filings - the SEC says you have to have a good reason.

Many years ago I came across a filing by a mid-cap biotech (I forget which it was) where they somehow had filed an unredacted partnership agreement by mistake. So that was the first time I ever saw an unredacted agreement.

I have no idea if we now look at 10 year-old filings whether companies actually disclose the unredacted documents.
