Some on this board seems to glaze over the point, I will repeat myself:
this says nothing of OPMG involvement other than offering Phoneguard for free, which they do anyway:
PhoneGuard, which provides safety products which restricts texting while driving administered by the individual has agreed to provide all student households in the United States with free basic access to the technology.
And this: PhoneGuard was requested by the student leadership after researching all the safety products available.
Where is OPMG's statement in the "article"? Where is their PR?
Folks are jumping up and down here but not looking at this logically...and more importantly, realistically. So when we're set with another (yes - ANOTHER) let down, don't say I didn't try. GLTU!
